My wife and I graduated from the University of
Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1999. My wife double majored in Criminal
Justice and Psychology, and I in Ceramics and Photography. Two
years after graduation, we decided to move back to Medford - a small town in the central part of the state.
We are both employed by the Medford Area School District. Although neither of us are working in our fields, we are
much happier in a smaller town, closer to family.
As you may have guessed, I love to work with clay in my spare time. My mind is never very far away from pottery. I am always trying to think of different glaze combinations, textures, techniques, ways to form the clay body, and how I can combine all of these to create beautiful works of art. I enjoy exploring the endless possibilities there are in ceramics, and transforming a lump of clay into a piece of work that is beautiful and meaningful to me.
After participating in several local craft shows, we
got the idea of creating a web site to display and sell our pottery.
We aren’t able to spend a great deal of time and money traveling, so this way we are able
to reach a much
larger audience without the travel expenses. The whole
process has been a very
enjoyable and educational experience for us.
We would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our site. We hope you like what you see and welcome your feedback. Please feel free to share any comments that you may have on our Contact Us page. Have a Great day!
Sincerely,
Marty and Katy
